My Therapeutic Approach

I have always loved connecting deeply with people. My passion for cultivating meaningful relationships led me to become a therapist, and I feel honored to play a supportive role in clients' lives. My therapeutic approach is warm, empathetic, and optimistic. I believe every person has unique gifts and, with the right supports, the capacity for growth.

I work with young adults, middle-aged adults, and all types of romantic relationships. My fundamental hope is for my clients to feel seen, heard, and valued. Within the safety of a trusted therapeutic relationship, we explore your story and the patterns that may be causing you distress. Together, we identify new and healthier ways of relating to yourself and to others.

I specialize in helping clients with anxiety, burnout, depression, loneliness, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. My work with couples focuses on strengthening communication, conflict management, and intimacy, particularly through the transition to parenthood.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a post-graduate certification in Marriage and Family Therapy. I earned my Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Family Systems from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. I also completed a doctorate in Sociology with a focus on marriage and family life from the University of California, Berkeley.

About Me

Like all of you, I am so much more than my work. I have been married for over fifteen years, and I continue to invest time and energy into sustaining a strong partnership. Together, we are raising three dynamic daughters and a spirited little dog. I'm also a committed daughter, sister, and friend; keeping in touch with loved ones across the country matters profoundly to me. At my core, I am an athlete and adventurer; a community builder and dance party enthusiast; a cheerleader for prioritizing play. And, I am on my own ongoing journey of self-discovery; I firmly believe that we can always better ourselves and our relationships. When I'm not in the office, you'll find me exploring Colorado with my family, walking my pup in the neighborhood, hustling after a drop shot on the tennis court, or sipping coffee on my front porch.
